Harnessing Customer Feedback

Nearly every project at TEAM IM includes some aspect of verification, testing, and acceptance. This phase compares what the initial business requirements were against what the current solution and product delivers. Testing, by default, assumes there will be some sort of change, enhancement, or revision required in order to reach acceptance. This is where incorporating customer feedback is vital to the success of a project.

Here at TEAM IM, we see the value and importance of customer feedback, not only for the immediate project but for the long-term usability and success of the integration and usability of our products. Feedback allows our team to gather changes, adjustments, revisions, and new ideas to further define and perfect the software being built.

Insight

Customer feedback provides insights on how users interact, how real users see pain points, desired features unknown at the time of requirements gathering, and usability issues that may not have been apparent during internal testing.

Validation

By going through the process of testing and review, customers and TEAM IM are able to validate the assumptions and business requirements made. Feedback from real users validates these assumptions and confirms the initial needs which guided the decisions made during build and development.

Improvement

Most projects are iterative meaning things are ever changing based on new needs or issues found while creating a new process. Incorporating ongoing feedback ensures each iteration addresses user concerns and improves overall user experience.

Once our customers and TEAM IM experts review and discuss feedback both parties can discuss prioritization-- which ones are required for MVP, if they should be included in a phase 2 or support agreement, or if they are long-term ideas pending alignment. These discussions foster collaboration across teams and allows individuals to share their unique perspective while ensuring alignment.

By building a feedback-driven culture across all projects, TEAM IM thrives on actively listening to users, responding to the feedback, and continuously refining our software to meet the business needs of each customer.
