Large scale Content Migration to SharePoint.
This Investment Advisory Firm uses innovation and iterative research to create synergistic, profitable relationships with their investors. The Firm leverages their global research to underwrite investments and construct robust portfolios.
Over time, the core team at the Firm realized that their usage of M-Files Cloud could not keep up with the demands their activities were generating. Microsoft SharePoint better suited their needs and could more efficiently facilitate continued growth—but they needed assistance moving approximately 7.5 TB of objects and data they had developed.

The Investment Advisory Firm recognized that in order to migrate everything without causing major issues for their day-to-day operations, they would need to work with someone with a deep understanding of both M-Files and SharePoint.
This is where TEAM IM was brought into the workstream. TEAM IM’s experts have achieved Gold status as partners with both M-Files and Microsoft, allowing us to seamlessly migrate between platforms with the deep-rooted knowledge of both. Additionally, Content Migration Suite PQM-EC1, which was used to migrate the firm's data, was used to quickly and efficiently migrate across systems with ease of mind.
The primary objective was to migrate approximately 7.5TB (across 1.2 million objects) of data from M-Files to SharePoint. The migration went smoothly, coming in under budget. Because there was spare budget available, the Firm deepened its partnership with TEAM IM by opting to increase the scope of the project.
This meant inviting TEAM IM to provide workshops and informative discussion sessions on a variety of topics, including instructions and recommendations on SharePoint for optimal usage, information architecture, and future support tools like Microsoft Copilot, SharePoint Premium, sensitivity labels, and custom site searches.
