In order to meet compliance requirements, this Global Financial Services Company needed to install, configure, and migrate all of their content from their development, QA, staging, and production environments. And they only had a brief window at the end of Q2 and the start of Q3 to do it.
Because TEAM IM and this Global Financial Services Company have a longstanding partnership, we were the logical choice to make this project happen. This was a complicated project requiring data to be stable and accurate across all four environments involved in the migration.
In under two months, TEAM IM was able to partner with the VP of Software Engineering, their DBAs, and AVPs to complete the migration, improve the resiliency and long term supportability of their architecture and environments, and confirm a period of extended support through 2025.
20,653,213 content revisions were migrated during this project, which included the additional resources of a Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, and two additional engineers. But even with these additional resources and the assistance TEAM IM provided on other initiatives during the migration, the entire project came in early and on budget.
